PTSA Information

California PTA Mission

  • To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and beofre government agencies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
  • To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children
  • To promote parent and public involvement in the public schools of the nation.

South High School PTSA Objectives

  • To promote welfare of children and youth in home, school, church, and community
  • To raise the standards of home life
  • To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
  • To bring into closer relationship the home and the school, that parents, guardian, and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
  • To develop between educatiors and the general public such united effors as will secure for all children and you the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spirtiual

PTSA Membership

The South High School PTSA invites all parents, students, relatives, and friends to join; the membership fee is $6.00 per person. This fee is a valuable contribution not only to South High School programs, but to PTSA activities at the stat and national level. Please join our orginazation now or any time during the school year, and encourage your students to join as well.
